CEREMONIES OF THE HAGG AND THE 'UMRA
Certain prescriptions concerning the Pilgrimage and the
restricted pilgrimage are followed by all Muslims.
Tawáf
(circumambulation of the Ka'ba).
Before entering Mecca, the muhrim must make his ablutions,
and may then go to the Sacred Shrine, and when his eyes fall on this Mosque, he
should say:
"My God, You are peace, and peace comes from You,
Receive us, Lord, with peace." Upon entering the Mosque, you must go to
the Black Stone, which is to kiss, and, if the crowd prevents it, you should
only touch it. If he can not touch it, he will raise his hand and shout
"God is great" (takbír) whenever he is in front of one of its
corners. Starting from the Black Stone and leaving the building on his left, he
turns seven voices, the first three quickly and the other four at a normal
pace. Certain prayers are repeatedly said, and, at the end of each ring, you
must kiss, or touch, the Black Stone.
Women during their menstruation and blood flow prior to

Once the Tawáf finished, the pilgrim takes refuge in the
height of Abraham. (maqám) and recite the following divine words: '' and
remember when we made the Temple of Mecca a place of recourse. "
Next, look at the Ka'ba. Halfway between, she
and the tall man prostrate himself twice. In each rak'a he recites the first
surah of the Qur'an, or Fatiha. With the first prostration recites, also, the
verse, following from the Koran: "say: He is God, Unique, God, the
Only", and with the: second. says: "di.- Oh, infidels, I do not adore
what you love ..."
