Tawaf al Ifada.
According to a tradition from Gabir, after the Messenger of
God had made the sacrifice of the offerings, he mounted a camel and made his
way to the Ka'ba. There I took a circumvallation called Tawaf al Ifada and did
his midday prayers in Mecca.
This circumambulation is an indispensable feature of Hagg,
according to the ulema, and all agree that it is preferable to do it on the Day
of Sacrifice, after stoning, shaving, and sacrifice. Still, doing it later, for
example during the days of Al Tashriq, and even later, is allowed.
The order of, certain of these prescriptions and of the
Tawaf to the Ifada can be changed. It is possible to shave before throwing
stones, or before death, of the sacrificed animal.
According to the Envoy of God, these ceremonies are simply
limited by time, as long as they are performed on the tenth day of Dhu'l Hiyya.
If the pilgrim is a
mufrid or a mukrin, his Hagg ends with the Tawaf al Ifada and has no need to
start the race between As Safa and Al Marwa. If he is a mutamatti 'he must do
it again and he should not stay without doing his Tawaf to the Ifada.
Once the hair is shaved or cut, the pilgrim leaves the
Ihram, but he has to abstain from any carnal action. After the Tawaf al lfada
and the race between As Safa and Al Marwa, in the case of being mutamatti ',
and after this Tawaf, in the case of being mufrid or muhrim, the pilgrim puts
himself in the state of Ihlal, or returns to world.
